Lodging Options
We are excited to recommend three lodging options for our guests. Bus transportation between these three hotels and the venues will be provided throughout the weekend, so guests of these hotels will not have to worry about finding a ride home.
Lake Placid Lodge
Location of the Mehndi Afterparty

Whiteface Lodge
Location of the Catholic Reception and Indian Ceremony
Excellent choice for families and those traveling in groups. This hotel has a very LIMITED room block for the weekend. If you wan to access the block, email
618.weddings@hhmhotels.com with your contact information and mention it is for our wedding. Otherwise, book early through their website as normal.

The Golden Arrow
Located on Lake Placid's main street
A waterfront resort in the middle of town. This hotel has room blocks for the weekend. To access the room block and book your stay, call the reservations phone number 800-582-5540 and provide the group name Russell-Lasalandra and Chaudhry Wedding.

While we encourage you to stay at one of these three hotels so we can provide you with transportation throughout the weekend, we understand that you may need other options. If for whatever reason you cannot stay at one of these three hotels, we would recommend the following nearby hotels.
Traveling to Lake Placid
By Road
Lake Placid is within driving distance for a majority of our guests and will thus be the easiest travel option. To help you plan your weekend, we've provided the travel time needed to drive from several cities:

If driving is not an option for you but you still want to travel by road, we recommend booking a bus ticket on Trailways to get to Plattsburgh or Albany from nearly any city in the US. Lake Placid Airport (LKP)
This private airport is located minutes from town and accommodates small private or corporate aircraft. Flight charters from any major city is available via Adirondack Airways.
